Basil Papotto | MS, PT, COMT
Basil received his B.A. degree from Vassar College in Mathematics and Economic. Following a stint in the insurance industry, he returned to continue his education at North Georgia University obtaining his M.S. in Physical Therapy in 1999. In 2005, he completed the didactic and practical examination to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), utilizing a well-regarded Maitland based approach to manual therapy. In 2012, Basil completed an 18 month, APTA-approved clinical residency program in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, emphasizing evidence-based practice. Completing the state required professional training in 2015, Basil is certified to administer trigger point dry needling.
When not working, Basil enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, woodworking, home renovation projects and cooking Italian food.
